Do you realize that Spanish is the third most spoken language in the world at the moment? Spanish is in 3rd place to Mandarin, the worlds most spoken language succeeded by English.
Interesting is the fact that due to country populations, the largest speaking Spanish country is Mexico, with around 106 million Spanish speakers, while Spain only has a population of around 44 million people.
Knowing how to to talk in Spanish is simple and can be a lot of fun once you get started. You can take a number of choices that will assist you in learning Spanish. You can take night courses if you have the time and the personal preference, but these days there are other ways such as purchasing a learn Spanish ebook, or an audio series of tapes or an online course. These options enable you to learn in your own time and at your own pace, rather than being locked in to a set period of time like a night training course.
The advantages and drawbacks of Night School to learn Spanish .
The major benefit of having a night course is that you can see how your learning is going compared to others in the class. You also can get immediate response from your teacher.
There are several draw backs though. If you are leaning faster than others in your course, then you may grow impatient with the pace, as the trainer will have to make sure the other members of your class reach your level before moving forward, and this can be quite frustrating.
There is also a possibility that you may miss one or more class's due to sickness, having to travel for work, or just other responsibilities such as children. Even if you miss even one class it can be difficult to catch up to the rest of the class. I have seen people skip a class and then basically drop out as they have found it too hard to catch up.
Getting an online or audio course.
This is my most liked way, and one that I have personally used for a number of topics. I find that I can work at my own speed, allowing me to use my time to the best. With audio courses I find that repetition is the key thing to learning, particularly with languages. The excellent thing about audio courses is that you can place a cd or tape in your car when traveling to work and the learning almost becomes like osmosis. You don't need to dedicate the time to this, as you are driving anyway.
Even if you travel to work by bus or train, a walkman or other such device will allow you to listen while on the go. Depending on how excellent your memory is, and how well you understand the subject at hand, whether learning to speak Spanish or learning basically anything, you can listen to each lesson as often as you have to learn speak Spanish.
