Start Getting The Nursery Prepared For Your Newborn - Well Before It's Time
You will find not a single thing better in my opinion than being pregnant. Enjoying the infant and raising the child is exciting and great but the emotions that come with carrying a child are just so incredible. The eager expectation, the excitement, the love and the unknowing can all be so stimulating.
I think one of my favorite jobs to do while pregnant is trying to get the nursery all set. It assists me to keep busy so the pressure of waiting doesn't overcome me. It also lets me to feel closer and begin establishing a bond with my infant. Finally it even permits my husband and I to get tighter as we pick out the multiple products, coloring and styles that we put in there.
When I start developing the nursery I commonly start with the bigger products first. My hubby and I put the bed together and get that situated in a corner. Afterward we put together the dresser which goes near the bed and then the rocking chair or recliner which I make an effort to situate near a window.
The moment the larger items are taken care of I start getting accessories that I want in there. Generally I strive to find bedding, a mobile, a changer for on top of the dresser and things to hang up on the wall.
The last item I look for is a nursery lamp. nursery lamps are so critical for late night feedings. They provide you with enough lighting to nurse or bottle-feed but not so much light that it will keep your child awake. Commonly I try to purchase a lamp that can remain with them for a while. My son has a blue lamp with big rigs and cars and my little girls both have pink lamps one with butterflies and the other with a ballerina and they love their pink lamps.
The most important point to keep in mind with your nursery is to make sure it is a quiet and soothing place for you and your newborn.
